One is spring (march to early May) and the other season is summer (early May to late August). From March to May, the average temperature ranges between 30 and 31 degree Celsius.

BY TRAINWAYS

The Jammu Tawi railway station is the nearest station to Kashmir. It is situated 330 km away from Kashmir. You can avail of trains from Delhi. Delhi is connected with almost all the major cities of India.

NISHANT GARDEN

It is situated on a terraced Mughal garden on the eastern side of the Dal Lake in Srinagar. The Nishant Garden is the second-largest Mughal garden in Kashmir. It is also known as Nishant bagh which means ‘Garden of Joy”.

SHALIMAR GARDEN

Also known as Shalimar bagh, Faiz Baksh and Farah Baksh are often referred to as the ‘Crown of Srinagar’. The word Shalimar bagh means ‘The Garden of Delight’. It was built for Nur Jahan the beloved wife of Jahangir in 1619.

CHASHMASHAHI

You can either call it Chashme Shahi or Chashma-i-Shahi Or Cheshma Shahi which means royal spring. It was a gift to Dara Shikoh the eldest son of Mughal emperor Shah Jahan.

On the order of the emperor, the governor at that time Ali Mardan Khan built this garden in the year 1632 AD. The bagh is situated in the Zabarwan Mountains overlooking the Dal Lake beside the Raj Bhawan (Governor’s House).

JAMA MASJID

The Jama Masjid is one of the most visited tourist spots of the Kashmir trip package in Srinagar. It is situated at Nowhatta in the center of the old city, Srinagar. The architecture of the mosque is inspired by Persian architecture.

It took 1394 CE to 1402 CE to be completed. Sultan Sikandar built this mosque at the behest of Mir Sayyid Ali Hamadani’s son, Mir Mohammad Hamadani. Jama Majid is considered to be one of the important mosques in Kashmir.

YUSMARG

Often known as a trekker’s paradise, situated 53 km south of Srinagar. Yusmarg is also pronounced as Yousmarg which means the ‘meadow of Jesus”. You can witness a beautiful vast landscape with green pastures and pristine water bodies.

Nilnag and Doodhganga and also the artificial Dam add extra beauty to its view. This place is quite rustic and reflects the local Kashmiri architecture.

ARU VALLEY

It is a 45 minutes drive from Pahalgam. The place is wonderful with a park situated at the center surrounded by hills. No doubt it will be a treat to your eyes. You can also climb the hills either by trekking or you may avail a pony.

AMARNATH

It is a popular pilgrimage shrine in Hinduism. The Shrine is situated in the Amarnath District. The main shrine is within a cave in the mountains, which is situated at 3,888 m above sea level. It is located 168 kilometers from Anantnag City and 141 kilometers from Srinagar. The Shiva linga inside the shrine is a Swayambhu lingam which natural stalagmite formation.

SANASAR

The name Sanasar has come from two small villages in the Ramban District of Jammu and Kashmir, called Sana and Sar. These villages were further named after two beautiful lakes situated in these villages. One is Sana Lake and the other is Sar Lake.

DACHIGAM NATIONAL PARK

It is located 22 kilometers away from Srinagar on the east side of Dal Lake. The meaning of park stands for ‘ten villages’. These ten villages are situated in this region before the time of World War 1. The park is under protection from the period of Maharaja in Jammu and Kashmir.

At present day, the government is responsible for its protection. Initially, the park was created to ensure the supply of clean drinking water, but later it was declared a national park.

KHILANMARG

It is a very small valley located 6 kilometers away from Gulmarg in Jammu and Kashmir. The valley is famous for its beautiful landscape views. In spring, the valley remains covered with a bed of flowers.

Whereas, in winter, the valley remains covered with thick snow. It is one of the best places in India for skiing and winter sports lover. The Valley spans from Nanga Parbat to Nun and Kun in the southeast.

BALTAL

It is a camping ground from the Amarnath Yatra. It is located only 14 kilometers away from Amarnath Cave. It is an hour’s drive from Sonmarg and 24 kilometers away from Pahalgam.

DOODHPATHRI GUREZ VALLEY

In the event of cancellation of tour/travel services due to any avoidable/unavoidable reason/s, we must be notified of the same in writing. Cancellation charges will be effective from the date we receive advice in writing, and cancellation charges would be as follows:

45 days before arrival: 20% of the Tour/service cost
15 days before arrival: 25% of the Tour/service cost
10 days before arrival: 50% of the Tour/service cost

  1. Please note that after the finalization of the Tour/ service Cost, if there are any Hike in entrance fees of monuments/museums, Taxes, fuel cost, or guide charges – the same would be charged as extra.
  2. As per the Government directive, you are requested to produce your photo identity document such as Driving License/Voter ID Card/Passport/Ration Card at the point of check-in at the hotel. We appreciate your cooperation.
  3. In case of the non-availability of requested hotels/hotels, we will provide accommodation in a similar category of hotel/hotels.
  4. If there is any unavoidable incident occur during the tour, Travotic will not be labile for any responsibility
  5. There will be no refund for any No Show / Unutilized services.
  6. The itinerary may be modifying based on various factors like maintenance of monuments/museums/major like spots conventions, religious festivals, etc.
  7. Itinerary timings on the tour are approximate and may be subject to change.
  8. Transfers and sightseeing on a SIC basis mean transport through a comfortable coach/bus/van depending on the total number of passengers traveling with you on that same tour. Please note that Travotic Holidays will be putting together all the passengers arriving around the same time and dropping them at their respective hotels. You may talk to our holiday experts about private transfers/ transport facilities, which will be made available at an additional cost.
  9. The customer needs to avail of the SIC from the scheduled pick-up point at the scheduled time. Travotic Holidays are not responsible if the pick-up is missed due to the customer’s delay.
  10. All personal extras such as laundry, room service, alcohol, minibar, telephone bills, pre-paid or post-paid SIM cards, etc. will be on a direct payment basis by the traveler to the service provider & Travotic Holidays will not be liable for the same at any point of time.
Payment Details

For all the services contracted, a 25% advance payment should be made to hold the booking, on a confirmed basis & for flight ticket booking need full actual fare. The balance amounts need to be paid 10days before the commencement of the services. Management personnel holds the right to decide upon the amount to be paid as advance payment, based on the nature of the service & the time left for the commencement of the service.

Apart from the above in some cases like Special Train Journeys, hotels, or resorts bookings during the peak season (like X-Mas, New Year, Puja, Diwali), a 50% advance payment should be made to hold the booking and 20days before full payment is required to be paid.

Note: Above mentioned payment policy may change during peak season.
