Upon arrival, check into your
hotel. Depending on your arrival time, the evening is yours to wander through the peaceful streets of Phuentsholing and soak in its

After an early morning breakfast, begin the offline permit processing with assistance from our Bhutan Tour Package coordinator in
Phuentsholing. The process includes various formalities, such as biometric registration. The permit approval time typically ranges
between 2 to 6 hours, depending on the season and the crowd at the immigration office.

While waiting for the permit, enjoy lunch. Once the permit is ready, embark on your journey to Thimphu, the capital of Bhutan. The
scenic drive from Phuentsholing to Thimphu takes approximately 4.5 hours by car.

For Travelers with Online Permits

If you have already processed your online permit, head directly to the Bhutan Gate post for biometric verification, which takes a
maximum of 1 hour. After completing this step, you can proceed directly to Thimphu.

Upon arrival in Thimphu (afternoon/evening), check into your hotel. Freshen up and take a leisurely stroll around Thimphu city. In the
evening, explore the nightlife, try local beer, enjoy karaoke, or indulge in a relaxing hot stone bath at a spa.

National Memorial Chorten (Thimphu Chorten)

National Museum of Bhutan
