Day 01: ARRIVE COIMBATORE TRANSFER TO OOTY

On arrival meet & assist by our local representative and proceed to Ooty.

On arrival check in to the hotel. Visit Rose Garden, Ooty Lake, and Botanical Garden. Overnight stay at Ooty.

Distance between Coimbatore to Ooty is 105 km / 3 Hours by road

Day 02: OOTY & COONOOR LOCAL SIGHTSEEING

After breakfast Proceed to Coonoor. Coonoor Sightseeing (Sim's Park, Lam's Rock, Dolphin Nose, and Ketti Valley - beautiful scenic views of the valley). Also visit a Tea factory, the Tea Museum, and Doddabetta Peak - the highest peak of the Nilgiri mountain range. Overnight stay at Ooty.

Distance between Ooty to Coonoor is 50 km / 2 Hours by road

Day 03: OOTY TRANSFER TO KODAIKANAL

After morning breakfast checkout and proceed to Kodaikanal. Check in to the hotel on arrival. Evening visit to Cookers walks, Green valley view, and the Kodai Lake - Star Shaped Lake and Bryant Park. Overnight stay at Kodaikanal.

Ooty to Kodaikanal distance is 270 km / 7 hours by road

Day 04: KODAIKANAL LOCAL SIGHTSEEING

After morning breakfast, proceed for sightseeing to visit Pillar's Rocks Silent Valley View, Berijam lake view, Silver cascade falls, Devil's Kitchen - popularly known as the Guna Caves, Pine Forest, Kurinji Andavar Temple. Overnight stay at Kodaikanal.

Note:- Berijam Lake View, we need to take permission prior to the entry. We will try to cover it otherwise we will skip this sightseeing point.

Day 05: KODAIKANAL TO BANGALORE DROP / KODAIKANAL TO COIMBATORE DROP

After morning breakfast checkout and proceed to Bangalore or Mysore or Coimbatore to board your train or flight.

  1. Nilgiri Mountain Railway - Nilgiri Mountain Railway, also known as Toy Train in Ooty, is one of the key attractions of the popular hill station Ooty. Such is the train's popularity and history that it was declared as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 2005. Started in the year 1899, it has continued to charm its visitors over the past many years winding its way through the best of nature.

The Toy Train covers a distance of a total of 46 km in a span of 5 hours and takes one through a truly spectacular journey filled with picturesque views en route. Another fascinating feature of the train is that its youngest X class locomotive is over 50 years old and the oldest is 80 years old

    2. Ooty Lake - Ooty Lake is one of the most refreshing and beautiful places to visit in Ooty. It lies at a distance of approximately 2 km from Ooty city in the green hills of the Nilgiris district. The stunning lake is spread over an area of 65 acres, and its foundation was laid down by John Sullivan who was the collector of Coimbatore in 1824.

     3. Emerald Lake - Emerald Lake is situated in Emerald Village, around 20-22 kilometers from the main city of Ooty, and is a part of the Silent Valley National Park in the Nilgiris District. Serene and away from the maddening crowd, the lake and its surroundings are much cleaner and offer a perfect place to enjoy a leisurely time in the vicinity of nature and quietude.

Ooty Botanical Gardens - Ooty Botanical Gardens lie on the lower slopes of the Doddabetta peak, the Government Botanical Garden is a splendid garden in Udhagamandalam, near Coimbatore in the state of Tamil Nadu.   1. Green Valley View (Suicide Point) - Formerly known as Suicide Point, the Green Valley View offers a breathtaking view of the plains, deep valleys, and hills. It used to be known as a suicide point because of the dangerous valley which is dense and deep; below the point of more than 5000 feet drop.
  2. Kodai Lake - Kodaikanal Lake is a manmade lake in Kodaikanal city which is also known as Kodai Lake. Vera Levinge was the man responsible for the creativity and resources of this lake amidst Kodaikanal town. This lake was developed by the British and early missionaries from the USASA.
  3. Bear Shola Falls - Located at a mere distance of 2 kilometers from Kodaikanal Lake, the Bear Shola Falls is a popular tourist spot in the region. This cascade is a seasonal attraction that comes to life to its fullest during the monsoons when the water flows down from the hilltop making its way through the verdant greenery of the region. An interesting legend behind the unique name of this place is that it was a favorite haunt of a bear who used to frequent this water body to drink water, hence imparting it to the name Bear Shola Falls. The quiet and peaceful atmosphere of this destination is a true haven for those who want to escape from concrete forest parks.   4. Pillar Rocks - Situated in the 'Princess of Hill stations, Kodaikanal, the Pillar Rocks have become a lovely picnic spot. Constituting a beautiful mini garden; the place is named so as it has three vertically positioned boulders reaching up to a height of 400 feet. The aura here is full of affection and is evidence of a great love story. The 'white cross' which once existed on these rocks represented David Gell's excellent tribute to love. The view of rocks is not something to be missed. They stand as an untouched miracle for the tourists visiting Kodaikanal.
  5. Thalaiyar Falls - Also known as Rat Tail Falls, Thalaiyar Falls is located in the lush green slopes of Palani Hill ranges in the Dindigul District, in Kodaikanal. With a height of 297m, it is the highest waterfall in Tamil Nadu, the sixth highest waterfall in India, and the 267th highest in the world. There is a view tower in the park at the Dum Dum Rock, from where you can get a beautiful view of the falls and the Manjalar Dam.

Coakers Walk - Coakers Walk is a beautiful man-made one-kilometer-long walking plaza built on the mountains in the mesmerizing city of Kodaikanal, which is situated in the south Indian state of Tamil Nadu. The lovely path of Coakers Walk that curves by the edge of the gorgeous mountain has been constructed mainly for visitors to get a glimpse of Paradise on Earth.
